Marvellous Works Inc, (MWI) is a 501(c)3 faith-based, community organization founded upon spiritual and biblical principles. Altruism and the act of giving back are important concepts with MWI, because we strongly believe once we are in position for sustaining; our God given commission is to give back. In most cases, that is literally a new way of life. This organization has been existence for many years, we were registered with SOS as a non-profit as of July 13, 2007.
MWI purpose is to reduce incidences associated with health and behavioral disparities affecting our communities in disproportionate numbers. We provide consultant services, motivational speaking, prevention services, mental health education, seminars, life skill training; alcohol, nicotine & other drugs education, trauma-informed care, seminars, physical health/wellness education and referral services for the community.
To increase awareness of innovative strategies and provide effective education and skills that will overall improve the lives of individuals in West Jackson and surrounding communities. MWI proposes to be the necessary catalyst needed to bridge the churches, schools, and other organizations in the community to address the holistic needs of the people.
"Being involved in the community and getting to know law enforcements and the people that allow us to move safely around the city is important"
"Providing leadership skills to our students in the classroom to guide advocacy and resilience in their respective schools, homes and community."
"Engaging in healthy options to play a vital role in encouraging a self-care and preventive measures to reduce stress and anxiety to promote long life."
